Analysis on the Realistic Challenges and Optimization Measures of the Integration of College English Education and Ideological and Political Education in the New Era

Abstract

Culture is an important force for the survival and development of a nation. To carry forward the core values of socialism with Chinese characteristics, we should absorb the energy of Chinese excellent traditional culture and pay attention to the modern connotation of traditional values such as “public”, “loyalty” and “fi lial piety. Ideological and political education is an important path to penetrate Chinese excellent traditional culture, cultivate students ‘scientifi c outlook on development and establish correct socialist core values. In college English teaching, ideological and political education for college students and curriculum ideological and political teaching activities will encourage students to continuously deepen their understanding and understanding of Chinese excellent traditional culture in learning English knowledge, and promote the effective inheritance and development of culture. Promote the deepening of college students’ thinking, the development of thinking, and constantly push it forward, seriously treat the development of Chinese modernization, and firmly establish the “Chinese nation community consciousness”.
