Abstract

Cultural lifeforms are the cultural forms of Chinese modernization resulting from the “combination of the two”. From the viewpoint of theoretical logic, culture can respond to environmental stimuli and evolve; from the viewpoint of historical logic, culture can carry out “metabolism” and self-regulation; from the viewpoint of practical logic, culture can “grow and diff erentiate” and “reproduce itself”.
