An Analysis of Strategies to Improve the Quality of College English Listening Teaching

Abstract


In the process of college English teaching,listening teaching is the basic teaching content,which plays a very important role in the cultivation of students’comprehensive ability.However,in the actual teaching process,many students cannot eff ectively improve their English listening level due to a lack of suffi cient basic listening skills.In the current social development process,English level of many college students is not high,which has a great relationship with college English listening teaching. Therefore,in the actual teaching process,college English teachers should actively explore eff ective teaching strategies and methods based on the actual situation of students and their own characteristics to improve students’English listening level.This paper starts from the factors that aff ect the quality of college English listening teaching,analyzes the problems in college English listening teaching,and puts forward relevant strategies to improve the quality of college English listening teaching,in order to provide reference for teachers in relevant universities.
