The Present Situation and Methods of College Practical English Teaching are Summarized

Abstract


With the development of China’s foreign economy and the increase in the frequency of foreign communication, there is a higher requirement for the level of practical English of college students. College practical English is a basic course in college, and non-English major students also need to learn it. Therefore, improving students’ comprehensive English ability can increase their core competitiveness in the future employment. This paper analyzes the present situation and existing problems of college practical English teaching, and expounds its teaching methods.
