Exploration on the Path of Co-construction of National Qualifi cations Framework of Vocational Education in African Countries

Abstract


The paper compars and analyzes the professional qualifi cation frameworks of Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya. It finds that the levels of framework system construction are uneven. Meanwhile, the vocational qualifi cations framework system disconnects the needs of society as well as that of enterprises and industries. The co-construction path is proposed based on the experiences of practical case for China supporting African countries in building a vocational education qualifi cation framework.
