A Study on the Lack of Audience Awareness of English Majors in Higher Vocational Colleges and the Path to Cultivate It –Taking English Email Writing as an Example

Abstract


The lack of audience awareness has made writing English applications a major hurdle for both teachers and students in higher vocational colleges. Taking email writing as an example, this paper analyzes the reasons for the lack of audience awareness of English majors in Higher Vocational Colleges from the perspective of teachers and students and explores the effective path of cultivating it, aiming at improving students’ writing and thinking ability.
