The Present Situation of Children in Rural Distress and the Practical Research of Social Worker Intervention in Ethnic Areas of Hainan

Abstract

Children and adolescents are the hope and future of the country, society and nation, and the development of children and adolescents is very important. Through the method of structured interview, participatory observation and questionnaire, this paper investigates the common development problems of poor rural children in Gaofeng District, Tianya District, Sanya City, Hainan Province, and analyzes the causes. On the basis of the service practice of promoting social work involvement in the current situation and development of children in rural distress in ethnic areas of Hainan, the team work method is fl exibly used to carry out professional social work services, and create a communication platform for children in distress and their parents. Social work services not only effectively expand knowledge inside and outside the classroom, but also promote parent-child communication, strengthen parent-child relationship, and strengthen peer group support among children. Through practical development, the paper summarizes and studies the effect and refl ection of social work involvement in the investigation and development of children in rural distress in Hainan ethnic areas.
