Study on the Reform Path of English Major Curriculum Teaching under the Background of New Liberal Arts

Abstract


In the school education of our country, English subjects are always in an important teaching position, English teaching almost runs through the students’ whole learning career, has a positive effect on the future development of students. In the context of the new liberal arts, the teaching of English major courses in colleges and universities should shoulder the responsibility and mission to make greater contributions to the construction of China’s “Belt and Road” and the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind, so that Chinese culture can truly go international and improve students’ cultural confi dence. Colleges and universities are important places to train teachers. In order to improve the quality of English teaching in primary and secondary schools in China, it is necessary to do a good job in the training of English majors, comprehensively improve the quality of English major teaching, and accelerate the reform of English major teaching. Therefore, under the background of the new liberal arts, this paper studies the reform path of English major curriculum teaching, hoping to provide an effective reference for relevant educators.
