Abstract

This article aims to explore the importance and influence of art and design in public spaces. Firstly, the functionality of art and design in public spaces was analyzed, including the role of beautifying the environment, shaping the city’s image, and increasing the attractiveness of the place. Secondly, it elaborates on the ability of art and design to express cultural, historical, and social themes through different forms and styles, making public spaces more aesthetically pleasing and culturally meaningful.
