The Reform of the Practical Teaching System for the Information and Scientific Computing Specialty with New Engineering

Abstract


The “Emerging Engineering Education (3E)” reform aims to create a collaborative education system through a new model, capable of breaking restrictions on teaching and research, and promoting transformation from traditional to diverse, open, and collaborative professional practice teaching systems. Based on the 3E reform concept and cross-integration characteristics between information science and computer science majors, a new practical teaching system has been explored, serving as a reference for local college reforms.
