The Role of Plant Molecular Breeding in Enhancing Plant Nutritional Value and Promoting Human Health

Abstract


With the continuous improvement of people’s health awareness, the direction of plant breeding is no longer staying in the yield aspect, but mainly studying how to improve the nutritional value of plants and protect human health. Plant molecular breeding technology is a biological discipline that fully uses molecular biology technology and the principle of genetics. This technology makes full use of molecular marker technology, gene editing and transgenic breeding and other biotechnologies, which have achieved remarkable results in improving the quality of plants and improving the nutritional value of plants. Therefore, this paper focuses on the principle of plant analysis and breeding technology to study the role of this technology in improving the nutritional value of plants and promoting human health.
