Research on the Path of Discipline Construction in Local Industry Universities

Abstract

As an important component of China’s higher education system, local industry universities are not only think tanks and talent pools for regional economic and social development, but also important forces in promoting local economic development and social progress. This article elaborates on the current situation and existing problems of discipline construction in local industry universities; Four basic paths for the construction of disciplines in local industry universities have been clarifi ed, and practical and case analysis has been conducted on the construction path of disciplines in local industry universities. Finally, inspirations for the construction path of disciplines in local industry universities have been drawn, and countermeasures and suggestions have been proposed.
