Research and Practice on the Assessment and Evaluation of Physical Education and Health Course in Vocational Colleges

Abstract


This article aims to analyze the current assessment and evaluation status of students in the physical education and health course at Shaanxi Railway Engineering Vocational and Technical College, combined with the training objectives and student characteristics of vocational colleges, to study the assessment and evaluation system of the “Physical Education and Health” course in vocational colleges, and propose a scientific, reasonable, and comprehensive assessment and evaluation plan. The plan emphasizes the combination of process oriented and summative assessments, focuses on the examination of theory and practice, emphasizes the improvement of students’ physical literacy and comprehensive abilities, and focuses on examining students’ physical and mental health status. At the same time, the feasibility and effectiveness of the “Sports and Health” course in the teaching reform of vocational colleges have also been verifi ed in practice, providing reference for the teaching reform of the “Sports and Health” course in vocational colleges.
