A Study Related to Gender Role Types and Self-Efficacy among Undergraduate Male Nursing Students

Abstract


Male undergraduate nursing students’ evaluations of their competence and confidence in achieving professional goals are influenced by their gender roles. This study found significant diff erences in professional efficacy among students with varying gender roles, with androgynous roles linked to higher levels of professional efficacy. The findings aim to enhance nursing education by exploring the impact of gender role types on male students’ professional self-efficacy.
