Abstract

With the development of economic globalization, multiculturalism has become a defining feature of contemporary society. The exchange and collision of diverse cultures have made university students’ thoughts and value orientations increasingly complex. As the primary venue for cultivating future generations and inheriting excellent culture, ideological and political education in universities faces significant pressures and unprecedented opportunities. Traditional ideological and political education methods have shown insufficient adaptability under the impact of multiculturalism. Promoting the reform and development of university ideological and political education within the context of multiculturalism has become an urgent issue.
