Jingyi Chen

Abstract

Integration of industry and education, along with school-enterprise cooperation, represents the essential characteristics of vocational education and an inevitable path toward its modernization. Industry-education integration forms the fundamental basis of school-enterprise cooperation, while the latter is a specific manifestation of the former. However, traditional models of school-enterprise cooperation hinder the deepening of industry-education integration and restrict the inherent development of vocational education’s unique attributes. Innovating school-enterprise cooperation models to enhance the quality of talent cultivation is a crucial direction for the development of vocational education.
