Applied Research on the PAD Classroom in English Teaching of Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education Programs

Abstract


This paper takes the “PAD classroom” teaching mode as the research object and explores its application value in English teaching within Sino-foreign cooperative education programs. Firstly, it analyzes the current status of English teaching in Sino-foreign cooperative education and points out the limitations of traditional teaching modes. Secondly, it elaborates on the implementation advantages of the PAD classroom in English teaching. Then, combining the characteristics of Sino-foreign cooperative education, it constructs asuitable “cross-class discussion”PAD classroom English teaching mode. Through teaching practice, the paper analyzes the positive impact of this mode on students’ English profi ciency enhancement and teaching effectiveness. The research shows that the PAD classroom can effectively improve teaching quality and enhance students’ language application abilities and learning motivation.
