Zhe Huang

Abstract

The social security system is an important part of the country’s modernization construction, and rural social security is a weak link in it. This article is based on the internal logic of rural social security supporting rural revitalization and proposes four strategies to improve rural social security and promote its deep integration with rural revitalization: improving the rural social pension insurance system, improving the rural minimum living guarantee and the support system for extremely poor people, improving the rural basic medical security system, and establishing a long-term mechanism for the integration and development of rural social security and rural industries. The aim is to provide institutional guarantees for comprehensively promoting rural revitalization and accelerating agricultural and rural modernization.
