Abstract

Chinese civilization is rich in historical accumulation and cultural essence. As one of the world’s oldest and most con-tinuous civilizations, it has achieved a creative transformation from tradition to modernity through artistic expression and cultural dissemination. This paper examines the unique aesthetic philosophical connotations of Chinese civilization from both the perspec-tives of aesthetics and cross-cultural communication, focusing on its spirit. It explores the philosophical qualities such as harmony between heaven and humanity, the beauty of moderation, and imagistic thinking found in diverse art forms like painting, music, and architecture. Additionally, it discusses how to use art as a medium to overcome cultural discount and communication barriers, thereby effectively spreading the spirit of Chinese civilization. The artistic expressions not only reflect the unique aesthetic charm and philosophical ideas of the nation but also serve as important vehicles for cultural dissemination. Traditional Chinese aesthetics, as an excellent part of traditional culture, are the root, soul, and pulse of cultural confidence[1].
