Empirical Study on Ideological and Political Teaching of Business English Courses Based on Core Competencies

Abstract


This study takes the cultivation of core competencies in business English as the main thread, based on the six ideologicaland political needs of students in secondary vocational schools. With specific curriculum ideological and political teaching activities as the operational mechanism, in specific teaching practices, it organically integrates the disciplinary knowledge teaching of English courses with ideological and political education in aspects such as establishing ideal beliefs, promoting mental health, cultivating cultural confidence, strengthening professional literacy, and practicing the craftsmanship spirit. It expounds the importance and feasibility of ideological and political teaching in English courses of secondary vocational schools guided by core competencies, and explores the realization approaches and conducts teaching reffections in specific teaching practices to achieve full-process, full-staff , and all-round moral education.
