The Improvement and Enlightenment of the Modernization Level of China’s Government Governance Under the Vision of Digital Reform
Abstract
Digitalization is one of the strongest drivers of global development today. In the 14th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of the People’s Republic of China and the Outline of the 2035 Vision Goals, the requirements of accelerating digital development and building a digital China are clearly put forward, and “accelerating the construction of a digital economy, a digital society, and a digital government, and comprehensively driving the transformation of production modes, lifestyles and governance through digital transformation” are emphasized. “The extensive application of digital technologies in government management services, the promotion of government governance process reengineering and model optimization, and the continuous improvement of decision-making science and service efffciency” are also emphasized. In the new era, the construction of digital government not only determines the government’s own governance level, but also is a key variable for the development of digital economy and digital society.
