Liying Feng, Kaiyu Zhou

Abstract

To further promote the innovation and reform of talent cultivation models in application-oriented universities in China, this paper takes the electronic engineering program at the City University of Hong Kong as the research object, systematically analyzes its advanced concepts and specific practices of talent cultivation model, and combines the actual situation of the electronic engineering program at the author’s institution to conduct an in-depth comparative study from multiple dimensions such as training goal positioning, credit structure design, and curriculum system architecture.By comprehensively comparing the similarities and differences in the construction of electronic engineering programs between the two universities, this paper extracts experiences and insights with practical reference significance, aiming to provide a reference for similar institutions to optimize their talent cultivation paths and improve the quality of application-oriented talent cultivation.
