On the Individualized Language and Teaching of Chinese Watercolor Art

Hang Li

Abstract

Watercolor art, as an ancient yet vibrant form of painting, has a long history in China and has accumulated rich cultural heritage. With the development of The Times and the renewal of artistic concepts, Chinese watercolor art has gradually developed a color language with distinct personality, demonstrating its unique artistic charm. However, at present, there exists a phenomenon of “emphasizing technique over individuality” in watercolor art teaching. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct in-depth research on the individualized language of Chinese watercolor art and apply it in teaching.
