Multi-Dimensional Collaboration and Precise Empowerment: Practical Paths for the High-Quality Development of Art Education in Remote Areas

Yuanyuan Sun, Jun Zhao

Abstract

For years, art education in China’s remote regions has struggled under the weight of several stubborn issues: outdated or inadequate facilities, a shortage of trained teachers, and an uneven spread of high-quality instructional resources. These limitations not only slow students’ artistic and personal development but also widen the educational gap between urban and rural communities. Drawing on the idea that hardware lays the groundwork, teachers provide the core strength, and resources drive sustainable improvement, this paper examines real examples from broadcasting-and-hosting programs and drama performance clubs. Through these cases, it analyzes the current landscape of rural art education and proposes a multi-layered collaborative model to help schools build a more balanced and equitable system. The goal is to provide both theoretical grounding and practical guidance for improving art education in remote areas.
