Kindergarten Science Activity Design-a Variety of Cups

Abstract


This activity program is aimed at middle-class children ( 4-5 years old ), with the theme of ‘ understanding cups of diff erent materials ‘, relying on the cup cultural and creative experience store to carry out scientifi c inquiry activities. Through the organization of visits, story listening, regional experience ( such as hand-painted area, sound detection area, experimental exploration area ) and sharing and communication, children are guided to use a variety of senses to observe, compare and operate cups of diff erent materials, and understand their characteristics and uses. The activities focus on the combination of scientifi c inquiry and daily life, stimulate children ‘s curiosity and desire to explore, cultivate their ability to observe and record, operate and express and share, help children build scientifi c cognition in practice, and learn to choose the right cup safely according to actual needs.
