Development and Optimization of AI-Based Image Recognition Technology for Intelligent Waste Sorting Systems

Abstract


With the advancement of waste classification policies, intelligent waste classification systems have become a key means to solve waste disposal problems. Artificial intelligence (AI) image recognition technology plays a core role in these systems, enabling automatic classifi cation and identification of waste. This paper focuses on the development and optimization of this technology in intelligent waste classification systems, analyzing aspects such as system functional modules and the development-optimization evaluation system. It proposes a scheme covering technical module design, evaluation system construction, and optimization path exploration, aiming to provide technical support for the efficient operation of intelligent waste classifi cation systems and facilitate the intelligent development of waste classification work.
