Research on the Implementation Path of Integrating Labor Education into Ideological and Political Education in Colleges and Universities

Abstract


In the context of the new era, the promotion of moral education and talent cultivation in universities faces new challenges, necessitating a systematic exploration of the deep integration mechanism between ideological education and labor education. In recent years, the state has repeatedly emphasized the important position of labor education in talent cultivation and explicitly called for the formation of an education system that promotes comprehensive development in morality, intelligence, physique, aesthetics, and labor. Ideological education is a key approach to cultivating students’ core values, achieving the purpose of value guidance through theoretical explanation. Labor education relies on practical operations to achieve the unity of knowledge and action. The two have an inherent logical connection. Currently, some universities are clearly lacking in the integration of ideological education and labor education. The former mostly adopts a one-way knowledge transfer approach, resulting in low student participation enthusiasm, while the latter is often limited to technical skill training, making it difficult to fully exert its deep value-guiding function. This article explores practical paths for integrating labor education into ideological and political education in universities, hoping to find a deep integration model between the two.
