Research on Career Development Planning and Employment Guidance Strategies for College Students

Abstract


Career development planning and employment guidance for college students are crucial components of the talent cultivation system in higher education institutions, directly infl uencing the quality of future employment and career development opportunities for students. Universities must continuously innovate the curriculum system for career development planning and employment guidance by aligning with the dynamics of social and industrial development, thereby providing targeted and forward-looking career planning and employment guidance services. This approach aims to enhance students’ career planning capabilities and employment quality, fostering innovation in the talent cultivation model of higher education. Based on this, the study elaborates on the importance of career development planning and employment guidance for college students, proposing innovative strategies such as accurately identifying students’ career development goals, improving the effectiveness of career development planning and employment guidance, innovating diversified career development planning and employment guidance service systems, and building a multidisciplinary faculty team to strengthen the foundation of career development planning and employment guidance, with the goal of promoting the comprehensive development of college students.
