Opportunities, Challenges and Paths of Generative AI Empowering Physical Education Teaching in Primary and Secondary Schools

Abstract


In recent years, with the rise of generative artificial intelligence technology, its application in physical education teaching in primary and secondary schools has attracted widespread attention. This paper conducts a preliminary exploration on the application of generative AI in physical education teaching in primary and secondary schools. Generative AI can provide personalized teaching plans, enrich teaching resources, realize precise teaching evaluation, and promote teachers’ professional growth in physical education teaching. However, it also faces problems such as technical application difficulties, data confi dentiality and security issues, teachers’ adaptability, and the transformation of educational concepts. By strengthening technical training, improving data management, and promoting the renewal of teaching concepts, this paper provides reference for the reform of physical education teaching in primary and secondary schools in China, promotes the efficient application of generative AI in physical education teaching in colleges and universities in China, and drives the high-quality development of physical education teaching in China.
