Qinghua Zhai

Abstract

This research focuses on the Sawurden dance of the Mongolian ethnic group in Xinjiang, and, drawing on extensive fieldwork, investigates the pathway for transforming folk dance from its traditional field context to classroom instruction. Firstly, it analyzes the reasons for introducing Sawurden dance into classroom teaching, and systematically demonstrates how to discipline and introduce the movements of Sawurden folk dance into teaching through field practice, achieving teaching inheritance. This not only provides a feasible solution for the inheritance and development of Sawurden dance, but also provides a universal methodological reference for the educational inheritance of other folk dances.
