Abstract

As the core force of high-level medical talents, the cultivation quality of medical postgraduate students is directly related to the future development of the national health sector. To address the practical dilemmas in the current ideological and political education for medical postgraduates, such as the «disconnect between knowledge and action» and the «detachment between mentorship and learning,» this paper proposes an effective path. This path is based on the «Mentorship-Learning Community» and constructs a three-dimensional integrated practical model of mentorship-embedded ideological and political education encompassing «Role Modeling, Contextual Immersion, and Research-Informed Teaching.» It aims to overcome the aforementioned dilemmas and achieve the organic unity of value shaping, ability cultivation, and knowledge transmission. Taking the “Sichuan-Tibet-Qinghai Brightness Journey” project of Wenzhou Medical University as a typical case, this paper delves into its operational logic and educational efficacy. Through the mentor’s Role Modeling, the contextual immersion of the plateau environment, and the research-informed teaching based on scientific feedback, the project facilitates the transformation of ideological and political education from external indoctrination to endogenous identification, providing a referable theoretical model and practical exemplar for constructing a mentorship-embedded ideological and political education system with medical characteristics.
