Research on the Construction of “Art + Technology”Interdisciplinary Curriculum System for Digital Media Technology Major under the Background of New Liberal Arts

Abstract


The construction of new liberal arts promotes the integration of arts and sciences, as well as art and engineering. Traditional digital media technology curricula often suffer from a disconnect between art and technology, making it difficult to meet the needs of emerging industries such as digital twins and visualization. This paper analyzes the current state of the major and examines the prominent shortcomings of the existing curriculum system. It proposes a top-level design based on training objectives and an overall framework. Using digital twins and visualization as the integration carriers, it designs a layered curriculum cluster of art, technology, and interdisciplinary core courses. Additionally, this paper proposes implementation safeguard measures in terms of faculty, platforms, and evaluation, exploring a curriculum construction model that integrates art and technology, so as to provide a reference for curriculum reform in similar programs.
