A Practical Study on Chinese-English Translation Empowered by Generative Artificial Intelligence

Abstract


Emerging artificial intelligence provides technical support for the transformation of Chinese-English translation models. This paper analyzes the empowering functions of generative artificial intelligence in Chinese-English translation from multiple dimensions, including translation efficiency improvement, translation quality optimization, complex text processing, and multi-version translation output. Combined with translation practice scenarios involving legal texts, Chinese run-on sentences, culture-loaded terms and stylistic adaptation, this paper sorts out the technical implementation paths and operational approaches of generative AI in translation. Generative artificial intelligence can reduce human translators’ workload, enhance the consistency of professional terminology, and boost the precision of cross-linguistic information transmission. This research offers practical references for the integration of translation technology and the efficiency upgrading of the translation industry.
