Research on the Collaborative Education Mechanism of College Students’ Ideal and Belief Education and Mental Health Education
Abstract
Ideological and political education and mental health education constitute the core work of fostering virtue and nurturing talents in universities. The former consolidates students’ ideological and spiritual beliefs, while the latter safeguards their physical and mental health. The integration of the two is pivotal to cultivating qualified talents.
At present, the two types of education operate separately, giving rise to problems such as disjointed content, inadequate connection and weak collaborative educational effect. Modern college students, burdened with pressures from academic studies, competition, interpersonal relationships and employment, are prone to mental confusion and wavering beliefs. A single educational model cannot fundamentally resolve their growth-related dilemmas.
Combined with the actual talent cultivation practices in universities, this paper explores the internal correlation between the two forms of education, sorts out the existing problems in their integrated education, establishes a practical collaborative operation mechanism, and puts forward optimization strategies. It aims to facilitate students’ all-round physical, mental and spiritual development and improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education in universities.
