Discussion on Novel Translation from Stylistic Perspective
Abstract
The criterion for judging the translation of a literary work is whether the style of the original work is preserved. With the development of stylistic theory and analytical model, the following four aspects need to be grasped in the process of novel translation: the overall structure of the article, words, grammar and rhetoric, sentence echo and context. These four aspects are not only the criteria for novel translation but also the theoretical basis for literary style.
