The Application of Aesthetics in English Teaching

Abstract

The diversified modern social life and the extensive knowledge information make the aesthetic activities gradually involve into each link of people's life, so the high level of aesthetic education should also be put on the agenda. Aesthetic education should be incorporated into English teaching in a planned way. English teachers should consciously educate students in aesthetics and encourage them to apply aesthetics in practice. Applying aesthetics to English teaching can improve students' interest and enthusiasm in learning, so that students can feel the beauty and be influenced by the beauty in the process of English learning.
