A Study on the Construction of Golden Course in College English under the Background of Cultural Globalization

Abstract


As an important part of the construction of China's cultural soft power, the cultural "going out" strategy is a key measure for the construction of college English golden course. Due to the lack of high-level foreign language talents, the philosophical views of our ancestors and the image symbols representing Chinese culture have not been disseminated and played their due roles. This is the biggest problem in foreign language teaching in China. By analyzing the guiding significance of Chinese culture "going out" strategy to college English teaching, this paper points out the important ways to integrate Chinese culture into college English golden course construction, aiming at cultivating more qualified talents capable of cross-cultural communication for the society.
