Approaches to Promote Ideological and Political Teaching in English Courses in Higher Vocational Colleges

Abstract


College English is a fundamental compulsory course in the teaching system of higher vocational colleges and has an important position in the education field. In order to effectively implement the Party's educational policy and realize the latest education developmental goal, higher vocational colleges should strengthen ideological and political education in college English courses. This paper focuses on the exploration and analysis of ideological and political teaching’s significance, current situation and teaching promotion in English curriculum in higher vocational colleges.
