The Role of English Word-formations in College English Teaching

Abstract


Compared with the English teaching content of other courses, college English not only has a deeper knowledge content, but also has higher requirements for students’learning ability, understanding ability and research ability. Therefore, how to improve the teaching efficiency while ensuring the smooth development of English classroom teaching activities has become an issue that requires the general attention of college English teachers. This paper mainly uses the English word formation method combined with the teaching practice to explore its guiding role in teaching activities, with a view to improving the teaching effect of college English in the process of promoting students’vocabulary memory.
