Discussion on the National Folk Music and its Inheritance

Abstract


China has a long history of music culture, especially the folk music with unique national form is popular with people. These music with beautiful melody, rich connotation and profound national style have not only become an important part of music culture in China, but also made contributions to the development of world music history, which are welcomed by people from all countries. However, with the rapid development of the economy, people’s living standards are improving day by day, and the aesthetic ideas of the audience changes accordingly. Many people fancy popular music, but pay little attention to national music. Even some national music is on the verge of being lost due to the lack of interest for a long time. National folk music is our national treasure in the history of the development, which has important historical value. It attaches importance to the survival and development of national music is respect for history and commitment to the future, so to strengthen the management of national folk music is an important and urgent task. This article talked about few opinions on how to protect and inherit national folk music.
