The Enlightenment of Discourse Analysis on College English Reading Teaching

Abstract


Language form teaching is the main teaching method for many teachers to carry out English classes. Although it can enable students to complete the mastery of knowledge to a certain extent, this teaching method that ignores the cultivation of their reading ability and language application ability is not only for students. The enthusiasm of learning is a kind of inhibition, and it will also affect its learning effect to a great extent. Therefore, when the English reading class is carried out, the introduction of discourse analysis teaching methods will help students learn knowledge while training their learning ability and reading ability, hoping to promote the comprehensive development of students and ensure the smooth teaching in the classroom carry out.
