Abstract

The purpose of cultivating talents in local applied universities is to focus on practicing talents with strong ability. The Geographic Information System is a subject with strong practicality. However, the existing practice content and practice means are seriously out of touch with society. The requirements of companies of talents are not clear enough, so the research on the practical teaching reform of Geographic Information System is particularly important. It proposes to optimize teaching resources, break the traditional teaching mode, design and practice means of practice content, strengthen the school-enterprise cooperation and other suggestions, and truly achieve the combination of teaching and learning to bring the enterprise’s training model to the campus, inspire students’motivation to learn, and clarify cultivating goals. It has a positive role in improving students’hands-on ability and innovative ability as well as graduation and employment.
