At this stage, the Internet is developing rapidly, and new media technology is increasingly used in college education. This is both an opportunity and a challenge for ideological and political education, and it is necessary to grasp the effectiveness of new media in ideological and political education in colleges and universities. Applying countermeasures is the key to ensuring the improvement of college education quality.
