On the Importance of College Students’ Aesthetic Education in the New Era

Abstract


Under the impetus of the development of socialist education in the new era of China, colleges and universities across the country have made unremitting efforts to vigorously build the construction of socialist spiritual civilization. All colleges and universities actively promote the comprehensive development of students’ ethics, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and employability through the implementation of national education policies. Among them, aesthetic education is an important part of the five educations. Aesthetic education can cultivate and improve students’ aesthetics, beautiful personalities, and humanistic quality. A sound personality is very important to establish students’ scientific and correct outlook on life, values ​​, and the world, improve students’ aesthetic ability, and continuously improve students’ pursuit of beautiful things. This article introduces what is aesthetic education, analyzes the important role of aesthetic education in improving students’ humanistic quality and perfect personality, and the importance of aesthetic education for college students in the new era.
