Optimization Analysis of the Application-oriented Transformation of Local Undergraduate Universities

Abstract


The diversification of the structure of higher education and the rational positioning of newly-built undergraduate colleges have developed internally and externally, which has promoted the transformation of local undergraduate colleges into application-oriented colleges. This transition has become inevitable and a consensus. The transformation of colleges and universities is a rapid overall change process that affects various system areas of higher education. According to the difficulties and challenges faced by local undergraduate colleges in the process of transformation, this paper analyzes the optimization of transformation path from the aspects of college positioning, discipline and professional setting, double-qualified teaching faculty, and applied research on technological innovation.
