The Reform of Civil Engineering Education with the Multimedia Technology

Abstract


With the rapid development of information technology, multimedia technology, as a new teaching method, has been widely used in college teaching. With the support of multimedia technology, the Civil Engineering major has made a big breakthrough in terms of curriculum designing and teaching efficiency. At the same time, the continuous innovation of multimedia technology has also brought severe challenges to the traditional civil engineering education system. This article mainly analyzes the challenges that technological innovation brings to the teaching of the civil engineering major, studies the current status of multimedia technology in colleges and universities, and explores key development methods of the multimedia teaching system for the civil engineering major.
