Investigation and Analysis of College Students’ Enlistment and National Defense Education Strategies

Abstract

National security can only be secured by the national defense. Recruitment is an important foundation for national defense and army building. It is of great significance to ensure national military strength and maintain national defense security. In essence, it must be a long-term and effective task. At the same time, soldiers are the foundation of the army. To improve the quality of soldiers, it is necessary to include the source of college students. For this, China has started pilot recruitment of college soldiers in some full-time colleges and universities since 2001. Universities now have been an important place for recruiting who play an important role in improving the quality of military sources. With the continuous development of military recruitment in higher education institutions, it is an inevitable requirement for relevant vocational colleges to do well in the enlisting and recruiting work for national defense and national defense education. Based on this background, this article points out the shortcomings and problems in college recruitment, then explores the countermeasures of national defense education for vocational college students.
