Analysis of the Reform of Ideological and Political Education of College Students from the Perspective of Young Marxist Cultivation Project

Abstract

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core has attached great importance to the growth of young people, and has issued a series of important speeches and expositions around the growth and success of young people. In the report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary Xi pointed out that socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, and specifically stressed the important role of youth in the development of the country in the report and the developing direction of the youth in the new era. The author puts forward countermeasures such as innovating the teaching model of theoretical courses, broadening practical channels, emphasizing practical links and sharing training resources. Colleges and universities are gathering places for young people, and college students are an important part of the youth. It is an inevitable requirement of the new era to do a good job in the ideological and political education of college students. Implementing the Young Marxist Cultivation Project in colleges and universities and cultivating and criticizing young Marxists among college students are important measures to effectively strengthen and improve the ideological and political work of colleges and universities.
