ESP and the Development Direction of College English Teaching in My Country

Abstract


With the increase of people’s attention to English teaching, the high school English curriculum has basically copied the general college English curriculum. Therefore, in theory, high school students can meet the requirements of college English teaching after completing high school English teaching. How to develop English teaching has become a key research issue for current educators. This article analyzes the social needs and student foundation, and analyzes the role of ESP in my country's college English teaching, in order to explore the development direction of college English teaching.
