Study on the Value and Significance of Educational Excursions and the Construction Practice of the Bases
Abstract
As the saying goes, “it is better to travel ten thousand miles than to read ten thousand books.” The main goals of
educational excursions are to promote the comprehensive development of primary and secondary school students in their
physical and mental health, improve their core literacy, and cultivate their sense of solidarity, as well as enriching their
knowledge and strengthening independence. To achieve these goals, educational excursions must be standardized, scientific,
and effective. Meanwhile, schools must also carry out research on the curriculum content and system of educational excursions,
and construct relevant bases to ensure that educational excursions can be valuable and significant.
